Avicenna Tajik State Medical University 2024-25:
Avicenna Tajik State Medical University (Tajik: Донишгоҳи давлатии тиббии Тоҷикистон; Russian: Таджикский государственный медицинский университет) or ATSMU is a public university in Tajikistan. Established in 1939, it is located in Dushanbe and named after the Persian polymath Abuali Ibni Sino (also spelled Avicenna).
It is managed by the Ministry of Health and is the only higher medical education facility in Tajikistan preparing medical personnel for the country.
